I started back in the day- the "pre-web days of the early 80s " THE trunk of my car was loaded with dozens of area phone books, business & reverse directories..A LOT OF DAYS! , I'd be in Manhattan in the morning , Massachusetts in the afternoon , Connecticut at night; I even went as far away as Mexico City "It was all good!" because I learned by doing, and it made me intelligence & information savvy! Thus when, I finally got a computer I was like a kid in a candy store "Gleefully" (Now there's a word I don't get to use everyday!) Accessing/saving all kinds of files and putting them in my favorites. as such I HAVE THOUSANDS OF UNIQUE INTEL RESOURCES IN MY DATABASE the sites & Blogs I put together are very frank and candid "INTELLIGENCE" Inclusive of some of the most; Unique, diverse, extreme and "SECRET / UNDERGROUND" SITES ON THE WEB!! HAS MADE THEM INTO MAGNETS 4 MAGGOTS; BUT A CERTAIN BREED WOULD DO/ AND MANY DO,DO ITFOR FREE! Due to our PRINCIPLES,INTEGRITY & HUMANITY! WE LOOK AT OUR WORK NOT AS A JOB BUT as A CALLING "NOT A NEW FORM OF "WELFARE" Or Being a "HOMER SIMPSON WITH A BADGE!" ONE OF THE BIGGEST KILLERS OF POLICE,CORRECTION,& MANY OTHER PROFESSIONAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS!! Tears of a Cop (TOAC) has a mission to make citizens across the country aware of the hidden dangers inherent with an occupation in law enforcement. Unlike the risks of a possible line-of-duty death (which most everyone understands as an unfortunate possiblity on the job), our voice is to raise awareness on the silent killer... suicide. The truth is, more police officers die from suicide than from line-of-duty deaths. The unseen wounds of job-related stress usually develop slowly over the course of an officer's career. A burglary here... a murder there. A child abused here... a bloody car accident there. Yesterday... surrounded by knife-holding gang members without back-up. Today... while investigating a disturbance, you suddenly find yourself in a struggle with a mentally unstable man, and thrown backwards out a fourth story window. You pray to a God you're not sure exists, hoping you don't fall while the broken glass cuts your back and you feel the warmth of your own blood... It is from trauma's such as these that the *unseen wounds* of an officer begin to manifest. And since we do not *see* these battle scars, in our ignorance, we choose to pretend they have no merit. One by one another symptom may appear unnoticed... Upset stomache last month. Disturbing dreams the month before. This month it's chest pains. Very common ailments, but when they persist and continue to co-exist with each other, it very well may be your body's way of saying "enough is enough" (see PTSD signs & Symptoms). Undiagnosed PTSD leads to feelings of hopelessness, despair and much too often... suicide.
